collaboration works

The learn East 'Engage and Enable' project supports our members with funding to keep the county websites updated with the latest news and information, but after three months it was apparent that a lot of time and effort was being spent by members publishing the same Regional and National information.

Following a sub-committee meeting in March 2010, it was agreed that, by the use of web technology, if one person published all the Regional and National information on the learn EAST website that information could be imported onto the six county websites, hence reducing duplication of work and improving efficiency.

This collaborative way of working follows the system already in place for learn EAST members to co-ordinate attendance at Regional and National briefings and events and produce a short report back to other members (as published on this website).

These actions have significantly reduced costs to members in updating websites and attending briefings / meetings, and improving internal communications.
