learn EAST

the Third Sector
Learning and Skills
network for the
East of England

about us

The learn EAST network exists to provide both stakeholders and prime contract holders, from all strategic funding streams, with a single point of contact with which to engage the third sector.

learn EAST also provides its extended membership of third sector providers with:

  • Relevant, up-to-date information about developments in the learning and skills arena
  • Potential sub-contracting opportunities and;
  • Support for partnership working both internally and cross sectors.

In November 2011the learn EAST network lost its funding, but in view of the value provided by the network the six county partners, and our key stakeholders, agreed to continue to hold regular meetings and exchange information and 'best practice', meeting costs from their own operational budgets.
